Well... back to the reason for this site... discussing cricket.. It was announced by the Sky commentary team during the game yesterday, that Tendulkar had been advised by the Hawkeye manufacturers and that he was allegedly now happy with the system, although as yet, I haven't seen a u-turn from the Indian camp. Having said that, if he is anything like an honest man, he will look at his and Raina's reprieves at the hands of Billy Bowden and admit the system has its merits. Even if Hawkeye is only used to track the ball up until the point of first interception in conjunction with the pitch map, that would alleviate howlers like those two. Furthermore had that system been in use it would also have confirmed the brilliantly correct decision by Asad Rauf, that undoubtedly would have been reviewed, which sent Gambhir on his way (much to his obvious displeasure). Just three incidents from one days play which alone should justify it's introduction.
I didn't see you complaining when Swann and Broad where plumb LBW in 1st and 2nd innings respectively, yet was given not out, the unlucky bowler was Singh, whom is now set to be dropped and possibly end his career.

Indian cricket Hatter is not entirely Asian, as English cricket is mostly South African lol.
You insulting me punk? You don't ever insult me.
Secondly Indian cricket isn't 100% Indian? All of the Indian squad are born in India, that's Indian enough I'd say. |

If they were plumb, and if those decisions do bring about the end of Harbahjan's career, then it serves India right... They were the ones who vetoed the LBW UDRS. If they hadn't done that they would have got those decisions, just as England would have got the two I highlighted. And that's the whole point I am making...in case you hadn't noticed. England wanted the full UDRS system, India didn't, so it's no good them whinging when decisions that they would have got if the full UDRS had been in use, go against them. They've brought it on themselves. So no sympathy from me I'm afraid.. You reap what you sow.. |

Thirdly the Coach is Duncan Fletcher, who has probably as much to say about the DRS than anyone.
