Having watched sachin lately I changed my mind to him as his ability to score in any format against any bowling in any conditions and do it for 20 years at the top level plus still be level headed and humble
Being Asian, everyone wishes Tendulkar played for their nation. He's arguably the greatest icon cricket will ever know.
Tendulkar's adaptability is truly awesome. You see other players master one form of the game and lack something in the other form.
With regards to Bradman, we'll never know how he would've played ODIs or T20, but one thing is almost certain - he would've adapted as he was truly stunning.
One other thing is certain Bradman's 99.94 and Sachin's 99 or more tons will remain unchallenged. |

Bradman played in an era of uncovered pitches. Yes sachin has displayed great adaptability over 3 different formats and is the undisputed great of the modern game, but Bradman stil has a superior average on far more difficult surfaces than the shirt fronts sachin gets to bat on. Sadly unless someone comes along in the future and sustains a riduculous average of something like 150+ over a sustained period of time then there can be no comparison as the days of uncovered wickets will never return

you cannot truly compare but there is a tendency of "old is gold". so people who haven't seen bradman play will readily vouch that he is the greatest. as for me, tendulkar is definitely the greatest for what he has achieved throughout his career.

Yes uncovered pitches but apart from a few the bowling was not as good in that era as you always here of great batsmen from that era but few great bowlers

IMHO it's somewhat ridiculous to try and compare players from such widely differing eras.... Bats, balls, techniques, unpiring standards, helmets, pitches, laws and just about every other facet of the game have all evolved, such that the game today bears very little resemblance to the way it was then. The only true comparison that can be drawn is against their contemporaries.. Bradmans was undoubtedly the best of his day just as Tendulkar is of his.
