hi i just bought a newberybat and it is stamped with c2 on the shoulder can anyone tell me what this means

Not 100% sure but I think it is Newbery's year marking so that they know what year they manufactured the bat for repairs and warranty etc

what year is the letter and what quarter of the year it was made is the number

C2 refers the to the type of handle, its not your conventional handle.
