From Australia so i need a bit of guidance on exactly how good these English bats are

They aren't English made from my experience.

I bought a Sumo LE a few years ago and while it was an excellent piece of wood and is still going strong 3 yrs later it's clearly Pakistan made.

Also the customer service was poor, the handle was a terrible fit and snapped midway though first season' CJI wern't overly interested. I got a local manufacturer to me (Charlie French) to rehandle it and it's been brilliant ever since.

Two different local stores in my area informed me.

A fine piece of wood, brilliant in fact. The rest wasn't ideal though.

It has been some time since viewing this site and people like yourself make it not worthwhile bothering , as usual answering without knowing any facts whatsoever. You and your two shops are obviously far from experts and are completely wrong no CJI bat is made in Pakistan some made in India and others in UK. All English Willow bats guaranteed for 1 year and Kashmir 3 months. If you had a problem it would have been sorted. As someone with a vested interest in the company I do know fact.
