Any photos etc?

Interesting choice of name btw - one could argue inspirational ("so powerful it recoils") or not ("ouch, the recoil on that makes it really tinny")!

And no, for the record, thats not Kookaburra bashing. Though I have had some fairly mixed experiences with them!

When will the ranges be released, I was after some Kahuna 1000 pads in OSM, but NO where had them and was told Kook had run out, so am keen to see what their new kit is like.

dont think you mean recoil makes it tinny , maybe reverb or similar. Recoil is made by a gun meaning kickback.
do you mean when you hit the ball with a dodgy bat it twangs in your hands. often called a plank

Don't like the look of the Recoil at all. I've used quite a few different Kookaburra ranges in the past such as The Ridgeback, The Beast and Kahuna. I'm afraid my view of Kookaburra now is Kahuna or nothing.

based on the looks Cecil? , you actually used any other bat or is this a sticker criticism?

tinny my way of exprewssing the same kind of sensation. In any event odd name - but, gotta say, I like the look of the bat - big swell on there and the stickers are much closer to the old, classic Kooks.

maybe my understanding of Recoil is wrong then (gun = power etc) , i think its a great name. Each to their own. (wow did you get the number of that train Tyke ;-)

Nick, just a comment on performance of the Kookaburra bat ranges based upon the different ones I've used. In my experience the Kahuna is just better than any of the other Kook ranges. You can't judge a bat on stickers! When batting it's about performance not looks. Saying that, I still don't like the stickers of the new Recoil!!

Don't know if I agree with that - I used Kooks a few seasons back and went through three Kahuna, all split through the toe, which was very unimpressive, but then one of our lads used the Rgoue this season and it actually went pretty well given it was only a lower model (maybe 300/350 or some such).
