contact a small company but it really depends on your level of skill.
unless your knocking on the door of county 1st XI i would aim at the bigger companies, if your a county age group player then kookaburra, GM and probably gray nic could offer you 30-40% off.
Since they are bigger companies they can afford to give more people a bit of a discount at kids level in order to get players using their gear. I would imagine a small boutique manufacturer might wont be able to afford to cater for kids or for players not getting them maximum exposure
