So... what do we think of this guy then ? I've never personally rated him amongst the best, and here we are, only day two and already two huge LBW howlers, both of which would have been overturned had the full UDRS system been in use.

Actually I had been really impressed each time I have seen him, haven't watched enough of this series to pass judgment here though.

watched the highlights, didn't notice any howlers, was it the one where he was over 2.5 meters down and it was clipping the stump?

I actually have a lot of time for the guy. He handled thing well yesterday, seems to have the respect of the players and has made a lot of good decisions. International umpiring is stil Dar, Taufel, empty space then the rest but he ain't bad.
