| Well Hatter.. you have just proved the truth about people of low intelligence... When reasoned argument fails, resort to the tactics of the school playground and toss out an insult. But if "you just a biased Pommie s**mbag" is the best that you can come up with, then I suggest your school report might read "Hatter tries hard but fails miserably". Oh and by the way... I presume you mean "you're" rather than "you". If you're going to insult me... at least try to make sure you get your spelling correct. |

I served in HM Forces for 30 years and I have both a State and a service pension, both of which I have contributed to through taxation throughout my working life. Now how does it feel to be so horribly wrong about at least one of your assumptions made without any basis of fact whatsoever ? Stupid might be one answer. But we already know that. Apologetic even ? Some hopes. I guess the old adage, that when ignorance is bliss, it's folly to be wise, is rather apposite in the circumstances. I won't even dignify your racist insult with a reply. | I guess that by using Hatter's simple criteria, the Sky cricket commentary team and most UK newspapers must be racist, not to mention many posters (including a significant number of Indians) on cricinfo because of their views on the Indian veto of the UDRS. Is he suggesting that none of us would feel the same way if any test playing nation other than India, was doing the same thing. It's got nothing to do with race... it's to do with cricket and what we all feel is best for it. |

Sorry Hatter , I tend to agree with Bob here. I dont take kindly to people raising the race card in matters like this, it restricts freedom of speech though worry of offense. This topic is about DRS and india have opted out, people have every right to make comments about india opting out without fools like yourself passing race comments.
Indian cricket Hatter is not entirely Asian, as English cricket is mostly South African lol. |

| Well... back to the reason for this site... discussing cricket.. It was announced by the Sky commentary team during the game yesterday, that Tendulkar had been advised by the Hawkeye manufacturers and that he was allegedly now happy with the system, although as yet, I haven't seen a u-turn from the Indian camp. Having said that, if he is anything like an honest man, he will look at his and Raina's reprieves at the hands of Billy Bowden and admit the system has its merits. Even if Hawkeye is only used to track the ball up until the point of first interception in conjunction with the pitch map, that would alleviate howlers like those two. Furthermore had that system been in use it would also have confirmed the brilliantly correct decision by Asad Rauf, that undoubtedly would have been reviewed, which sent Gambhir on his way (much to his obvious displeasure). Just three incidents from one days play which alone should justify it's introduction. |

| Bob I agree 100% but as I have mentioned before that an Indian company already have this technology which is part owned by Anil Kumble and I just suspect the BCCI are looking to use this than an overseas proven product. |
