I'm a part-time keeper playing 2XI adult cricket and I've been looking into getting my own gloves.

I've come across 2 styles of webbing. Traditional long cut and Aussie style short cut.

Whats the best option to go for and why?

Thanks

I presume you are referring to the cuff part by the wrist as the webbing between the thumb and index finger tends to be a standard size and can not exceed a certain size according to the ICC rules.

With reference to the long or short cuff, there is no right or wrong answer. personally I prefer the short aussie style as I find they are more comfortable and give me more movement as I find the bigger one to be more cumbersome and restrictive. That all said it is a matter of personal choice and would recommend you try them on to find which you prefer.
