Went to GCCC today and bought a puma calibre 3000, the bat has huge edges and is very light. There are 9 slightly wobbly gains. The bat has guite a few defects in the wood but it didn't stop the bat from pinging better than their 5000's. The bat weighs 2.7(te sticker said 2.5 1/2) and has 33/34mm edges. The bat has quite a wide and long sweet spot. The bat is small mens in size. Would rate the bat itself 8/10 tthe only bad thing is the willows appearence. The customer service was quite minimal in store but they were very helful in the emails.
Here are the pictures,

sorry if the size is to big
all comments welcome

So would you say it is the same as a GM "Academy" sized bat? What are the difference in dimension between Small Mens and Short Handle?

difference is barely anything i think its 2cm shorter and 0.5cm wider (SM is recommended for 170cm-175 and sh is 175 up, i am 172)
The 5000 they had looked brilliant but it was sorta dead

i used the bat for the first time today, it was amazing batting has never beens so fun. I have used kook, gm, gn, slaz and ss but now i realise why people use puma thay are amazing the ping combined with the size of the edges sends the ball miles. The only downside is that after you play a couple of shots that hit the centre you try to hit all of them as hard as you can, but the good thing is that most of them were probably fours and the couple of shots that went stray would take some catching.
would recomend puma to anyone that likes a light bat with nice big edges and its not only for sloggers the control behind the shot is amazing when you defend and play your drives.
