I'm really tempted to buy this bat (gm+) but bit put off with the high middle and how it would drive off half-volleys. Can anybody who has used it tell me how it goes towards the bottom end of the bat?

ive had the flare and can say that the main weight of the bat being quite high does not make driving the ball any harder, or effective if the ball is timed properly. The only thing is with the weight being higher the lower end of the bat is a lot less forgiving than other bats with lower middles (personal opinion).

I highly rate the GM 808 range of bats. Superb finish and the ping is awesome.
