Cricket Sponsorship
We are the DUCK HUNTERS team and currently we are playing in the Krugersdorp(South Africa) Super League. We are the Reigning League Champions and believe we can successfully defend our position in the season to come.
We are currently looking for a prestige company or individual to sponsor our cricket team.
We are looking for a sponsorship to help us as currently we are doing everything ourselves. Although it hasn’t stopped us from performing at the best of our abilities, we would just like to be able to have some support from someone that could help us.
• The league fees for each team is +-R6160 including semi-finals and finals. Each game cost R560 per team. We also have to pay R400 administration fee to the organizers.
• Currently we all bought our own equipment, but some of my players don’t have the necessary equipment and has to borrow from other players.
• We currently play with any clothes that we currently have and don’t have a set outfit for the team as no one can afford to buy a designated outfit.
We would like any company or individual that can sponsor us anything from league fees, branded outfits, cricket equipment or anything that can help us improve our cricket.
Some Statistics and Information:
1. We haven’t lost a league game in 15 matches.
2. Our team is currently ranked 50th in the world.
3. Our team is currently ranked 12th in the country(South Africa).
4. Our team is currently ranked 1st in Krugersdorp.
5. All players get World Rankings, National Rankings and League Rankings.
6. One of our players is currently ranked 74 in the world for Batting.
7. One of our players is only 14 years old.
8. Last Man Stands are played over numerous countries including Great Britain, Australia and New Zeeland.
9. SilverStar Casino, Clover Tropika, Audi, Lexus Security and Sportsmans Warehouse are only some of the current sponsors for teams in the league.

What do you offer to the sponsors ?
Last time I was in Krugersdorp we played against KHOSA (super ground for a hockey field). |

We are currently playing on the KHOSA B field that is situated at Krugersdorp High School right next to KHOSA.
We are willing to do anything for the sponsor. We are willing to change our team name to accommodate the sponsor. We can also get the sponsor advertizing spot on the International Last man Stands League site. We are really open for anything. We are close with the organizer and I know that advertizing next to the field is also fine with him. It all depends on the sponsor at this moment.

Why not contact Mr Wim Jansen 083 212 0973 as he is linked with Gauteng Cricket Board and he knows best how you can apply for Sponsorship.
I have watched cricket on the KHOSA B field but it was U'15 standard so not sure why a team of your ratings have not kit or decent ground to play on.

The organizer is busy in negotiations to get us a decent ground for the League. We are affiliated with KHOSA and only use their field as there arent any other available for the League.
Hopefully by May we will have our own grounds.
We don't have kits because I didnt want to approach any business or organization until we have an achievement behind our name. I wanted to prove why we deserve it first.
I dont believe that we should just get everything, you should work for it. And I believe my team worked for it now and thats why I am looking for a sponsorship.

Im not sure but dont think so. Its only an amateur and social league that was started in Great Britian in 2005.

You can if it is organized by the League organizers otherwise we play league games against all teams in the set league in the area of the franchise. We are in the Krugersdorp franchise.
There is a world league where teams from all over the world plays in a World Championship. Protea Coin from South Africa won it last year in Australia.
We couldnt go last year as we didnt have a sponsor that could pay for the event and we arent able to fund it ourselves. It worked out to R25000 per player in our team at the cheapest for the league.
You get ranked by playing in your league, then the stats from each game for each player gets calculated and then they rank that world-wide.
They give an exact desciprtion on how scoring works on the LastManStands.com site. |
