7 Day Cricket tour of Malta
Anytime during 2011 & 2012

Malta is a sunny, friendly island where Englishspeaking locals welcome visitors to their
laidback traditional resorts, intricate sleepy
streets and bustling fishing ports. With some
fascinating architecture, hot climate and
diversity of landscapes, it is a great destination
and when on a last minute holiday to Malta you
will see it is an island that simply begs to be
explored.

Details
Malta may not be traditionally known as a cricket tour destination but there is thriving cricket clubs
and leagues here. Our Malta cricket tour is based in and around St. Julians, so that you are within
easy reach of the clubs' grounds and can enjoy a wide variety of activities outside of the time
devoted to sport.
Hotel Accommodation
Your group will stay in one of our carefully selected three to five-star hotels near St. Julians, such as
the five-star Intercontinental Hotel. Basing your tour party in this area ensures that you are
conveniently located for the airport, tour matches and a wide choice of night life, sightseeing and
excursion options.
What the price includes:
-Return flights from London to Malta
-Six night’s hotel accommodation
-Continental breakfasts and evening meals
-All coach transfers in Malta
-Two match fixtures against local opposition
-Tour organiser/manager
-One free tour organiser place for every 10 paying passenger
Itinerary
Day 1 - Check-in at the airport for your flight to Malta. On arrival you will be met at the airport and
taken to your hotel.
Day 2 –Morning at your leisure, to help settle into the hotel, before transferring to your first
opposition's ground for the first match of your tour (40 over matches will start at 10.30 and 20/20
matches will start at 13.00). Join with the hosts for post-match refreshments before returning to
your hotel.
Day 3 – This is your first leisure day of the tour; use this time to enjoy a full day sightseeing on the
island, perhaps also taking in a tour of the capital city, Valletta.
Day 4 – Rest and relax this morning before transferring to your second venue ground for the second
match. Why not let us organise you a BBQ afterwards which will be good fun for all, let your hair
down and enjoy the night socialising with the locals with free flowing food and local wine, before
returning to your hotel.
Day 5 – The second leisure day of the trip, maybe we could organise for you to go go-karting, with a
shopping trip to fill up on all that duty-free and finishing off with a typical Maltese Night out.
Day 6 – The last day of the tour, so why not finish in style by winning the final game and then
celebrate with a night out of Ten Pin Bowling before hitting the town for a good old jolly.
Day 7 – Return back to the airport for your flight home at the end of a thoroughly enjoyable and
rewarding five days away. At this you will start planning the next year’s tour.
Travel Arrangements
Our tour arrangements are based include return flights for your group, either from a London airport
or from one located more conveniently for you. On arrival in Malta you will be provided with
exclusive use of a Sport Experiences coach, which will collect you from and return you back to the
airport in Malta. The coach will also provide the transfers to your matches, as well as between your
chosen activities each day and your hotel, to ensure you enjoy the very best tour arrangements.
