Nike are going all out to add a heap of technology to their cricket footwear.
The fine orange lines you see of this Yorker II model are knows as flywire. The technology has been around for a couple of years and used very successfully in running, basketball and football. Cricket was the next cab off the rank to add the technology.
The flywire filaments are designed to hold your foot firmly in place reducing the small quantities of slippage that you get with all shoes - saving you energy and lessening foot injuries.
Flywire is a key component in the vII launch of all five models of Nike shoes. Make sure you try a pair on if you are on the lookout for new shoes. Plus, you'll get a free pair of Nike trousers (worth 30 quid) if you buy them.
