The aussies will win. It wont be as one sided as in the past.
Guys like Anderson start throwing pies (TOO FULL WITHOUT ANY SWING) as soon as they land in Australia. No real threatening bowlers for Eng- on Aussie tracks. |

| Exactly what Secretrmit said. Final result I reckon will be 3/4-0 with one or two draws. Without swing, England are nothing. Without bounce, Australia are nothing. But because there is now bounce, Australia should win. Graeme Swann might do well at Adelaide though. |

i reackon phin and broad will be the best down under but phinn is inexperienced and broad dusnt bowl as well as we will need him to down under regularly enough so i think for us to win it wil be extreamly tough i think it will be close |

Contradicting yourself adam , they will be best, and then go on to explain why they are not !!!
If Anderson & Swan bowl to their best and KP & Cooks form makes a revival , England will have a great chance.
Australia are disjointed at the moment true, however they always step up on the big stage. But trust me, if they dont the aussie fans & Press will have a field day on them !!! |

| I think whoever wins the first test will win the Ashes. Lack of swing could make Anderson ineffective- his return on the last tour down under wasn't good at all. Apparently the humidity means Swann feels bowling 5 balls is like 5 overs- his fingers split more easily. Broad could loose his temper and sulk if things don't go his way. Despite a total of 260, our batting unit does look solid enough to get big totals. Fingers crossed ey! |
