| I recentley (last saturday) hit my maiden half century which I am very pleased with and was a huge relief :P. IT was a nice innings where we were chasing 246 and I came in at 70-4 we were trying to rebuild the innings and I finished with 65 not out and 9 fours however the team finished 196 all out :( What was your first 50 like and what were the conditions :)?? |

| For Leinster first time id ever opened for a representative team... Twas raining and the match was reduced to 34 overs but stupidly we still need to get 175 for full bonus points. So after an early wicket I played second fiddle to the number 3 who got like 83*, we had a 158 Partnership and is my biggest partnership to this day. We won the match and got full bonus point from a single of the last ball of our innings so I was happy. |

Well done Clarkeboi, hope you get many more!
My first 50 was in a school match aged 14, the only time I got to bat at higher than 8 the whole time I was at school, ended up on 83 not out, considering I was a bowler at school it was quite a surprise to me and everyone else!
It was comfortably my highest score and I didn't get another 50 for about 10 years, partly because I stopped playing cricket at 15 and didn't start again until I was 21. Probably took me another 3 years of adult cricket to get a 50, but I've made plenty since then but never made 100. Highest score so far is 96. |

My first 50 was when I was 13, playing in one of my first adult games! We were chasing 220 and when I came in we needed 100 from the last 10 overs. We kept it up for 7 odd overs but then didnt manage it... i finished on 58*

| There is a Leinster Cricket Club and then the Province Leinster which you have to get selected for. James is just trying to be smart. And Leo good research :L |
