On the subject of potential fakes, what do we all think of this supposed beauty from L&W on eBay at the mo:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Laver-Wood-Private-Bin-Grade-A-willow_W0QQitemZ330396092358QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_SportingGoods_CricketBats_SM?hash=item4ced2447c6

Would Laver really let something go with that few and that irregular grains?

that was my first thought - the only thing that pulls me back from the idea is the ctickering - L&W are pretty good at keeping their brand integrity.

Anyone else got thoughts on this one?

Well i like the stickers, but you could buy yourself a set from greg chapel cricket to sticker up your bat to support breast cancer charities back in Australia. I know a lot of guys out there along with my cousine too who started using pink grips and bat stickers. Maybe we could get one of those large manufacturers of bats or large online cricket retailers who don't normally support any charities to do the samehere? I know neberry did with their pink grizzly yeah? Good one mr Mc Grath for trying to make a difference and raise funds for deserving charities. Maybe we could do the same here for help for heroes? but don't hold your breath!!

Honestly I kinda liked the stickers and the bat. I hope it goes really well for Warney and I hope he scores tons of runs with this stick.
