The stickers in that link are different. I just assumed it was fusion as the checkered bands were green and black. The sticker on the back is different as you can see. Unless what i was given were stickers from a previous model? Cant help you past that sorry lekka.
Of course i dont mind CD, edges on both bats are 35mm.
The bats arent that old, ive only just started playing cricket. I filled in for the last couple of games last season and played each game this season. So just over half a dozen games. I use it in the nets atleast once a week and usually manage to sqeeze in a quick hit b4 the game most saturdays.
There are only 2 very small (2-3mm) surface cracks that run from left to right on the face. One of which was from a blow with the bat mallet where i struck the toe as hard as i could with the sharpest radius point on the mallet to see how deep i could dent the willow.......leason learnt!! And the other on the edge of a pinhead sized gap left where the grain in the willow lifted when it caught on the bat cover after id sanded it back to raw.........another lesson learnt. This is the very first bat ive prepared so i expect to get it right next time. I also expect the bat wont last very long due to the nature of the particular clefts used but im just going to enjoy it while i can, and probably cry myself to sleep when it dies!!
Welcome back lekka. I had contemplated using the stock stickers in a similar way but the Gray Nicolls text is printed in silver and i wanted white, also the spear on the back of the Legend had concaved sides which was also not what i wanted. Anyway, i can promise you all i am as happy as a pig in $#?+!
Ohh okay
The edges looks huge for 2.8 lbs bat. The only other bat which I have seen with huge edges is MB Malik Bubber Sher. But this bat is Legend as the name says.
As far cracks are concerned I think you are lucky. Since your Custom made bat has around 20 grains these types of bats (IMO) cracks after 12-14 games
Maybe the willow is still playing in as somehow the bat continues to improve, the power is just amazing and the noise it makes on contact is so sweet and crisp!
