Hey guys,
So just wanted to know which gloves you have.
Tell us about them, and a pic if possible.

I'll start, I've got Slazenger Panthers from 5 years ago!!

I'll see if I can get pics up.

I use some plain, sausage style unbranded gloves. Bought them last February.

Positives about them so far have been the comfort, they are extremely comfortable, the cost (£20) and the look. I think they look great whether it be in the nets or in a game!
Wouldn't call it a negative as such but one draw back is that the protection isn't magnificent. Have been hit on the hand once wearing them and it didn't hurt to be honest but I reckon if you are facing very quick bowling it's best to look elsewhere!

Well firstly, when buying online you don't get to see the protection in great detail. Secondly I'm not exactly facing Brett Lee every week and finally I like they way they look (is it such a bad thing?).
The point I was trying to make is that they are great unless you are going to be playing very high level cricket. The standard I play at is pretty good with some quite quick bowlers (guys contracted to counties at uni and some minor counties players) and they stood up to those quite well.

No, obviously I could tell they would protect my hands to a decent level but you can never tell how well!

I don't want to get into an argument with someone who, every time I log on, seems to want to argue over stupid points. Just accept that firstly, I like the way the gloves looked. Secondly, I can obviously see that they would protect my hands and not necessarily to the "test match" standard advertised because I know my gear quite well and finally, being a student I can't afford the top notch gloves that I'd like to so obviously price is important.

Oh, yeh one last thing. I use the big piece of willow in my hands to hit the ball, not my gloves.

End of.
