Didn't know where to put this....

I'm playing against a tour side tomorrow for the first ever time. Its basically an u15 side v their u14 side. It will be a 40 over game starting at noon. Can't wait to play a youth 40over game. Only ever played T20 at this club level.

The school we are playing are called "Brentwood School" from Essex I think. Anyone know anything about them? Its their u14 XI!

big bad al

Lot of rain here earlier so doesn't look good. Square is very wet so the game will either be called off or moved to the school which is only an artificial. :(

Sorry forgot to reply to that.

I went with my mate cause his wee bro was playing for NCU. Went to Rush on the Wed. Was supposed to go to NC on the Friday but it was too far away so couldnt be bothered going. Mate said it was class place with the indoor nets and all.

Wouldn't call them great. We hit 235/6 in our 35 overs. Two brothers aged 12 and 14 opened and recorded over 120 for the first wicket. The 12 year old hit 59(his 4th time he's hit that score) which included 5 6's. His older brother hit 69. Our number 3 also hit his first ever 50. I fell for 8 :(

Bowled them out for about 50 with more or less everyone bowling including myself :) Picked up a wicket!
