| i know quite a few women cricketers, such as my sister, who play in the mens leagues so its not that they arent up to the standards at club level its just there arent that many womens clubs around so it isnt a major sport. |

I doubt women would be able to bowl as fast! Bowling pace is helped with the muscle's in the back, and 'generally' when have weaker backs. A strong back will increase the pace generally, and this goes for both men and women. Smooth action will help the pace when bowling.

| Men are stronger and therefore can bowl faster and hit the ball harder but that does not mean that they are better. Timing is key for batting and accuracey for bowling so there is no reason why women could be just as good as men. |
