Hi,
Just wondering who here wears helmets or face grills for keeping to spinners. Higher level domestic,state,national and international keepers wear them. My level, never seen a player use them. Not sure if its down to male bravado, or what...
I love keeping to spinners, but at times feel a little uneasy with getting head right behind/inline with ball for some deliveries when the batsman is just begging to sky a big edge right towards your teeth.
Thinking perhaps I should simply buy a mouth guard.
Anyone like to share their experiences and thoughts on this
