H fellow cricket lovers, my powerbow 5* has finally been busted the whole bottem edge ( for the left hander) has come off! i saw some nice reviews from solitaire cricket bats on this forum so i decided to give them a try.I rang up Roger who was happy to take down the specs that i wanted about last week and he said that the bat would be made by friday as he had 3 other bats to make. here are some rough specs i wanted:
> Light pickup.
> A large GUN middle in a middle-low area of the bat, but still spread out if you know what i mean.
> Short handle.
> Thick edges. maybe a centimetre thinnner than these( see pic) but still keeping strong driving power and middle.
> Weight around 2.7/8 ... if not, the low area of a 2.9.
> 9-10-11 straight grains with a strip or two of heartwood for a left-hander. if possible.
> slightly bowed
> weight evenly balanced.
> scuff sheet , oiled, knocked in etc.
> slightly oval handle
> green stickers
