hi.. I tried to search for this information but could not find it.
I just got the xiphos 5-star. its 2lb 13oz, with a bow. it has the protective sheet on the face. I hit it with a mallet a bunch but the wood seems pretty hard. few Qs
1. do I still need to oil it and knock it in?
2. if yes, should I take off the protective sheet? won't it spoil the surface?
