Sehwag has stated his main motivation is to play 100 Test matches, after which he would consider 'retiring' from Test cricket. This has to be a joke right? The guy is probably the most destructive batsman since Vivian Richards and could be most destructive ever by the time he's done. Coupled with the fact he's in the form of his life since returning to the Test side. His Test record is also far superior to his ODI/T20 records.
He also wants to bat at number 4, when Sachin retires. This be pretty good for India, Sehwag strolling out when 250-2 and dausing more carnage against a tiring attack. |
