Why does India not produce any decent fast bowlers? Apart from Zaheer Khan, who is still not fully fit after shoulder op, the rest are ordinary.
Or in the case of Ishant Sharma, Irfan Pathan, Munaf Patel and Sreesanth why do these bowlers get burnt out after 2 years?
I mean Ishant used to bowl between 140-150 kph all the time, but recently can barely reach 130 kph.
Irfan Pathan used to bowl beautiful inswingers at 140-145kph. These days there's no swing and pace is down at 125-130 kph.
Munaf Patel was brisk when he started, around 140-145 kph. Yet his bowling has fallen away as well.
I think the BCCI needs to add some juice to the Indian wickets and send the bowlers on some sort of conditioning camp.
