Adidas softs are the among best out of any brand this year. I have tried GN Ignite 5*, GM 707 Teknik and Kookaburra Kahuna Mayhem but nothing compares to the Adidas Pro level batting gear (maybe gm on pads but thats it)
The gloves have the best designed side protection - very flexible and provide full coverage. The gloves are very soft and very comfortable to play in. The green bit on the inside of the fingers is extra grip to hold the bat - very effective and a nice touch indeed. The design is very good apart from the pale green in finger.
The pads are made from high density foam with no cane construction so are very flexible and wrap easily around your legs. The straps are also very strong the the inner padding can be removed and washed so they don't go sweaty and yellowy. Adidas are serious and it shows.
