i play in a local league that has 7 divisions...
sunday we played against a team in our division, division 5.
they also have a division 1 side and pro/overseas players...
they had 2 games on the same day for the same division, therefore the teams were 50/50 division 1 and division 2 players.
our 2 guys who opened both regularly get 50 and 100s with me number 3, who is more of a boycott type opener with 20-30 holding up an end and taking the bowling to see off the more difficult bowlers.
we got hit over the park for 380 odd in 45 overs then blitzed for 128 all out.
what i want to know, is your thoughts on division 5 local league teams getting decimated by Western Cape 1st team regulars and the like????? |
