Does anybody, perhaps in NZ or that knows more than I do about NZ cricket, know why the three senior pro's in the side - Vettori, Oram and McCullum all bat too low?
Vetori just got 140 in SL! Oram and McCullum too are capable of tons, and admittedly in most test sides their positions - which seem to change each innings (crap coach/back-room?) but generally be 6/7/8 - are about right, in this struggling side they should be at least one higher. Vettori should be at 7, Mcullum and Oram in the top 6 and generally take some more responsibility! Baffling. Vettori said why change his position from 8 if it's working - well it isn't working is it? You lost, again - 140 would be more use up the order. |
