This morning I am pleased to announce that I am now the proud owner of a custom made Newbery Excalibur. Its in the UZI shape with blue Grizzly stickers added to it. Purchased through Mike, I have bought this and a middling bat. I might not be able to bat like Lance, but my bat is similar!
It weighs 2.9, but picks up like thin air! 34mm edges! 16 rule straight grains! I know the style will not suit everyone some will hate it some will like it,(I bet TTFC is wetting himself right now)All I can say is that this bat is everything I could look for in a bat, and will suit a no hoper swinging it around for fun like myself!
I really cant recommend going to Mike for a bat any higher. This is a fabulous bat, and his customer service skills are fantastic!

As for the bat, anyone looking for a new bat should consider a Newbery very strongly. Having it tapped it with a mallet for a minute it goes like a train, and the workmanship which has gone into this bat is fantastic!
