Wicket keeper batsmen wanted join a club for the 2009/2010 season. Our A grade side played semi-final last week. We had one older player (about 40y/o) the rest of the side were 23 or under. Club is trying to rebuild using players that have grown up around the club (most 2nd or 3rd generation players). We desperatly want a guy who can help develop a youthful club. Idealy he can teach two young blokes that have shown keeping potentialbut are not yet at A grade standard and can make a few runs. The club is recovering from a financial setback which means we cant offer much in the way of pay but we do have great time and while having fun manage to be competative a fierce desire to succeed. We are locates about half way between Melbourne and Adelaide in a small city called Portland. We will help find accomidaion and we also have plenty of contacts to find work if wanted. This could be a great chance to have a holiday of a life time while playing cricket with a great bunch of blokes that are working there but off to set the club up for the future. Would love to here from an interested party. |
