Most of you will say I am crazy, but I am trying to restart (yes, restart) cricket in Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire (Ivory Coast) West Africa. We had started in 2001, but the civil war put an end to it. Things are calming down here now, and there is considerable interest in cricket amongst some of the local high schools, and within the Indian community here, as well as the Pakistan peacekeepers within the UN.
So my problem is getting some kit, and some sponsorship.
Has anyone any ideas ? |
