Posted - 07/03/2012 : 19:45:44 Hi guys,
I have to make a choice between the two bats. I am basically a middle order batsman who relies more on timing and drives rather than the big power shots. I prefer my bat to have thick edges and big bow. Both these bats have that and the rogue has a lower middle bat profile. Which do you think would be a better bat for my style of play? I earlier had a puma irridium 5000 which completely disappointed me. If the ball hit anywhere other than the middle it would go no where. The pickup was good in that bat but lacked drive power and the profile was higher than the middle in that bat. Please suggest. Thanks. |

Posted - 30/09/2012 : 14:13:10 Rogue has a low middle position and Kahuna has a middle in middle of bat. Your choice, i'd go to the shop and pick up a few to see which bat feels better to you |

It all depends on what wicket you play on! If its low bouncing English club wickets then the Kahuna will be best as its middle is lower. If its fast and bouncy wickets and you like the backfoot drive then the Rogue wouldnt be a bat decision even though I would still go for the Kahuna as it is an all rounder. |
