Personally, I was keeping wicket to a fast bowler, about 7m back from the stumps. The batsmen left the ball alone but did not return to his crease. I took the ball and sprinted (which I thought made my intentions clear) to the stumps and took the bails off. Is this a legitimate stumping? The square leg umpire didn't think so, he thought the ball was dead. What do we think?
What have your experiences been? |
