Posted - 17/06/2011 : 00:18:09 I am in search of a bat and here is my playing style. I am adult male (5' 10") and i love to play the pull short over the boundaries. I prefer to play with a short handle and a light bat. I would be using the bat to play with the NIVIA HEAVY TENNIS BALL only. ( and not for hard balls) Please suggest which bat would suit me the best. Thanks for your time.

Posted - 18/06/2011 : 08:37:10 and kashmir willow because you won't be using against hard balls but you can still use it against hard balls if you want, english willow for hard tennis balls I just don't see the point. |

Posted - 18/06/2011 : 03:21:36 i live in Raleigh, NC (USA). There are no local stores selling decent cricket bats and the only way i can get a bat is ordering online.

Posted - 17/06/2011 : 23:54:06 do you have any shops near you? if so just try out different bats you will find light ones but try go for one with a higher sweetspot because you like to play on the back foot. |

Posted - 17/06/2011 : 14:10:59 Thanks mate for responding to my post.
I am looking for a lighter bat. (under $200 US DOLLAR) It does not matter to me if its English willow or Kashmir as long as its light.
I am flexible on the brand too. |
