Dinesh Karthik was using a powerbow. so not shaun marsh's bat. the first match he used it, it was plain and only the back sticker was there at the bottom. next game it was stickered as Reebok. |

The players get paid extra for using the brand stamps on their bat edges. (think of a cricket bat like an F1 car, advertising space costs money)

James do Lekka have a brand on the side of your bats? I can't recall seeing any :s SS, SF, CA etc seem to have been doing it for ages and i was interested to see GN especially start doing it. |

You will find it happening more now Alex as manufacturers are trying to make sure that the audience know who actually makes the cricket bats they see stickered up by sponsors brand names. I remember Lekka doing this back in 2007/2008 on their bats and since then the likes of H4L , GN , Ayrtek and many other brands have followed in the same direction. |
