Its been a while since ive last posted on here but hey...busy in Uni!!

Any way, ive moved clubs this year and they've 'developed' me into a off spinner, (saves my knees from wicket keeping!!) Just wondering, as an offie, is it better to bowl up the slope or downhill...stock ball is a average flight, with a very quicker ball....ideas? Cheers!

if your bowling with a pace bowler at the other end go down the hill to make it easyer for them

Just make sure your quickees don't throw tantrums having to bowl uphill..

thanks, yesterday, tended to drag it a little short, which was annoying!! (yesterday happened to be a flat pitch, my home ground is on a slight slope) cheers again everyone!

Bowl against the wind.

I would say work out what you tend to do more, overpitch the ball or drag it short. If you tend to overpitch more then perhaps go uphill and if you drag it short more then try downhill as depending on the slope, if you overpitch downhill the ball will go further and probably be a full toss and if you drag it short uphill then it might sit up to be hit. This is just theoretical and it may be completely wrong :)

I bowl leg spin from time to time and prefer either flat or uphill. Then again I don't have a quicker ball.

the pitch should be flat? but otherwise downhill make the most of your quicker ball
