Woodworm cricket was bought a couple of years ago by SportsHQ, they are rebuilding the brand and have released some new bats for 2011 and are also sponsors of the West Indies, so is the new brand release working?

I don't imagine there was anythign dodgy except their business sense. They seemed to sell well enough but - well, the numbers that were rumoured to be on Freddie and KP's contracts made it highly unlikely that they'd be able to keep going for every.

I have recently purchased their new pads black label edition and Gloves Black label edition and the quality is superb and the protection is awesome, the pads are feather light.

i dont think they were dodgy either, just think people got the wrong impression . The bats sold like hot potato cakes and were the biggest seller when freddie came on board.

How were they dodgy ?

I think it is hard to reproduce a brand that before had a dodgy reputation. I believe making a new brand of cricket completely would have been better in my opinion. Although there kit is priced well though.
