Friendly family orientated club that has been in existence for over 100 years and has remained one of the most established cricket clubs in Surrey during this time.
The club runs seven senior cricket sides, 4 Saturday & 3 Sunday. The Saturday XI's compete in The Surrey Championship.
The cricket section has an extensive colts section with two teams (U15 & U13) competing in the Mid Surrey Colt's League and three teams (U10, U12 and U14) competing in the West Surrey League. The club is Club Mark accredited and also has been granted as a ECB Chance to Shine Club for the next 4 years, showing the progression and dedication to improve as a club.
The 1st Xl is a young but talented side (with players representing minor counties 1st Xl and also Surrey Youth Xl's) and the club has great facilities. The club also very much enjoys the social side of the game and has a great club spirit which often spills onto the pitch. We are all good mates and enjoy each others company.
We are after players with british passports for the 2011 season as we already have our overseas lined up, all standards welcome.
Winter nets will commence in January and are available for anyone to attend.
Please contact Daniel Yarnley on Daniel@ChessingtonCricketClub.co.uk if you are interested and want more information.
